A crack along the outside wall of my shower. Is it necessary to replace the shower? The other is shine on my back door in the ceiling.

It seems that its base is the solution. The cracks can be easily and cheaply fixed, but if your foundation is the solution that you have bigger problems. You can fix the cracks with mesh tape and spackle. You must first cut along the crack all cowards. Next, place the mesh tape over the crack and a layer of spackle.
